What do we do?
How do we do it?
Our professionally trained Field Officers provide support and information on epilepsy. This can be to the individual, their family/whanau, schools, and places of employment, other health agencies or professionals.
All services provided by Epilepsy New Zealand and its Field Officers may be accessed via our toll free number 0800 EPILEPSY. You can gain direct access to your local Branch and Field Officer via this number, or click here to go to our electronic contact us form.
Established since 1956 Epilepsy New Zealand has grown from one Branch to 13. The first ‘Epilepsy Week’ was held in 1971 and in 1977 the Association launched its emphasis on field-work. Epilepsy New Zealand continues to develop it services to meet the demands of its clients and members. As a result, individuals, friends and family can feel more confident that they will not be considered disadvantaged by having epilepsy.
